Get Ready for a Summer of Gardening Fun in Beverly Hills!
The city of Beverly Hills Community Services Department is excited to announce a new series of engaging and educational gardening workshops this summer at the beautiful Greystone Demonstration Garden. Located at 905 Loma Vista Drive, this stunning garden is the perfect place to learn new skills and connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts.
Summer gardening in Beverly Hills
The summer gardening workshops are scheduled to kick off on July 14 with ‘How to Make Your Own Plant Terrarium’, followed by a ‘Pickle Party’ on July 28, where you can learn the art of pickling. On August 4, discover the secrets of ‘How to Make Your Own Herb and Spice Mix’, and finally, on August 25, explore the world of ‘How to Grow a Pollination Garden’. The cost for the series of four workshops is $45, or $36 for Beverly Hills residents. Individual classes are $15, or $12 for Beverly Hills residents.

Gardening friends
But that’s not all! If you’re passionate about gardening, you can become part of the Greystone Demonstration Gardening Club, where volunteers meet to help maintain the Greystone Demonstration Garden and the grounds around it, including Pollinator Hill. Members can put on their gardening gloves to join in or simply observe, learn and enjoy the camaraderie with other garden lovers. The Gardening Club members will meet on July 12 and August 17, from 9-10:30 a.m. for the summer club meetups.
